driving past a nuclear power plant by the San Onofre beach wheremarc used to surf in his youth! (ya think his mom worried back then?)

we enjoyed mexican food and margaritas when we were on our 24 hour break during the week. as you can see, barb had them
too...(and the flash reflected lights or something!)
we had an uneventful holiday week on the road...tho' we did see lots of christmas lights and holiday traffic as we made our way from the east coast back out west to san diego. it was handy to have marc as my "guide" as we wound our way thru and around the big cities. he knew where the mall exits were, and had me prepared BEFORE those exits by guiding me to a middle lane. i personally have never seen so much traffic, and am amazed that i (a girl BORN lost) can even keep up with all the freeway splits and lane changes that are required!
we wish all of you a WONDERFUL NEW YEAR! we think about you (and talk about you...lol) all the time. take care......

ha ha ha, the margarita picture is funny! Through the eyes of barb...ha! Your truck is HUGE! You are a brave mom to be driving such a huge thing, I can barely park my van! Glad you guys are safe and Happy New Year!
