merry christmas!!

our "snowman stocking" for christmas surprises!

. ....and we love virginia! a beautiful state (with lots of horses!)

barb driving over the mississippi river from memphis, tennessee.

thinking back, our "space" in the Z wasn't very big.
(oh yeah, we didn't LIVE in it!)

christmas started in virginia for us and ended in tennessee! we had a wonderful day driving, and midway had our course changed. another driver needed to get home in florida, so our "georgia load" was swapped for his "texas load". it worked out great, since we were able to stop off in nashville that evening, and spend some time with steph and ben, and sarah and little stu!

the day was absolutely beautiful as we drove down from virginia, but we were sad to see so many other drivers still on the road. some of the truck stops were quite full, which of course means a lot didn't get home for christmas. of course, many of the guys are divorced since the lifestyle is very hard on families. we feel so lucky to have each other, and be able to work together as we are. (of course we realize that not ALL couples can work together or live in a 8' X 8' space as we do!!)

You guys are just too cute!!! Finally got caught up on your blog,...Barb you've done a great job. Love seeing all the pics and just reading about your guy's big adventure.

Thanks for stopping by for Christmas, that was a real treat for all of us. Stu was quite happy to have someone match his energy (aka Barb), lol. We were all burned out after two days of "christmas" with the little guy,...you guys came at the perfect time:). hee hee.

Thanks again for all the lovely gifts! Ben and I have been saving for a bike rack, and it just so happens that target has the one we want.

Love you both very much! Please feel free to crash at our place any time.
