restaurant, but it is really quite true!
(some of the guys even "pucker" as they go down this one.)
marc skipped his morning nap to help me down this grade!
(notice how i'm gripping the steering wheel.....wow.)

visit to the groomer....
our crazy lifestyle....after all, he's a LITTLE fat dog.
after what seemed like weeks (it was actually 11 days) we made it home to redding for some needed appointments. we were routed over Donner Summit (I-80) down from Reno...which is "famous" in the world of truck drivers. marc says there are some guys who simply won't accept loads out to california because of this particular pass. so OF COURSE it was time for barb to drive it! it actually wasn't as bad as i thought it would be, but then the weather cooperated....the roads were dry. i'm sure my story would be different had there been snow or ice on the summit.
while in redding, we were able to see friends and family....it was a great visit home. (of course, we no longer really have a "home", so stayed with both the Belli's as well as Bob and Helen.) while there, we picked up karl from the Adamson Inn in Millville--THANKS you guys! a great time was had by all!

I am so happy that you got to go and pick up fat little Karl. He really isn't THAT bad..i was thinking he was a lot fatter :).
When Karl began his stay with us he was much fatter. He had to fight two big dogs for meals and there was no begging.(: He never got real skinny though because he never figured out he is the little dog.
