so, as we drove through ohio and pennsylvania yesterday, i was able to get a few pics of my favorite animal! as we came up behind this "Amish horse" pulling the cart, i felt bad that we were probably scaring it....and marc slowed down so i could get a picture. she (the horse) was just moving right along at a fast trot, and seemed quite undisturbed by us. the cart didn't look very sturdy, but it didn't tip over or anything as we went by. if you click on the pic looking back at the cart, you can see the couple with their child.

I think that is crazy that people still live like that...I couldn't do it!! Could you imagine wearing pilgrim clothes, having no computer or t.v. and not wearing makeup?! NO THANKS!
oh hey, take a pic of the inside of your truck so we can see how it looks....
just one more way for man to keep his women & children subservient. "How ya gonna keep them down on the farm............?" A little brain washing, a big stick, and isolation.
